The Wolf Among Us Remastered reveals Bigby's full werewolf form ahead of October 29
Bigby Wolf is preparing to return to Fabletown on October 29, 2026. A new trailer reveals his redesigned full werewolf form, while Telltale has confirmed bonus content, promotional pricing and a revised platform schedule.
There is a particularly dangerous side to Bigby Wolf that Fabletown's criminals would rather avoid. Telltale's latest trailer for The Wolf Among Us Remastered finally reveals the sheriff in his fully transformed werewolf form, redesigned for the upcoming release.
Shown during the October 26 ID@Xbox x IGN Showcase, the trailer arrives just days before the digital launch on October 29. The remaster returns players to the five-episode detective story that established Bigby as one of Telltale's most memorable protagonists.
The US price is $24.99, with a 20 percent launch discount available to eligible new buyers and additional promotions for digital owners of the original game.
The original mystery remains intact
Telltale has deliberately preserved the underlying narrative. Bigby remains the sheriff of Fabletown, a hidden community of fairy-tale characters living in 1980s Manhattan.
A murder investigation exposes the tensions within that community. Interrogations, consequential decisions and complicated relationships remain central to the adventure.
The changes are concentrated on presentation. Character models have been recreated with greater detail, while animation, environments and audio have received substantial upgrades.
Game director Matt Saia has explained that the team rebuilt character assets and relit every scene rather than simply increasing image resolution. The project also draws on a later version of Telltale's technology associated with its Batman games.

Bigby's redesigned wolf form is among the clearest examples of that approach. The character retains his familiar identity, but his transformed appearance is more imposing.
The extras go beyond visual improvements
Noir Mode offers a complete black-and-white presentation inspired by classic detective cinema. Players can switch back to the remastered color presentation at any time.
Five previously deleted scenes have also been restored as playable content. An art gallery containing more than 100 images and over an hour of behind-the-scenes interviews provide additional material about the original production.
The first episode was available as a demo during October's Steam Next Fest. That preview period preceded the full commercial release.
Nintendo players will have to wait
The final platform schedule differs from earlier announcements. Telltale has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch edition will arrive later, without providing a revised date.
The October 29 release covers PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One, with Xbox Series X|S support through backward compatibility.
Digital owners of the original game may qualify for discounts of up to 50 percent on Steam, Epic Games Store and Xbox. On PlayStation, eligible original-game owners receive a 50 percent discount with PlayStation Plus or 30 percent without it.

The offers depend on platform, account eligibility and regional pricing. The published promotional period runs from October 29 through November 12, 2026.
Physical editions will follow in the first quarter of 2027. Telltale is also developing The Wolf Among Us 2 for a planned 2027 release, continuing Bigby's story after the events revisited in the remaster.
